Abstract Geometric Seating Installation at Venice Biennale 2010

New York studio ArandaLasch have installed a collection of seating that’s made up of foam triangles at the Venice Architecture Biennale. Entitled Modern Primitives, the series was developed in collaboration with Italian fashion brand Fendi and forms the first part of a project to be concluded at Design Miami in December.

Fendi describes the installation as an installation composed of foam structures, derived by small primitive pieces connecting into larger ones that can be sat on, leaned against, held in one’s arms. This setting will describe a space of dialogue where events and conversations are conducted, recorded and broadcast.
