AIA|LA announced on September 28 that their 2010 AIA|LA Firm of the Year Award was awarded to Lorcan O’Herlihy Architects (LOHA). If you’re driving down a street in Los Angeles and you happen to pass a modern, boldly colored building characterized by creative uses of textures and materials, then you probably are looking at one of LOHA’s design creations. During the past 20 years, LOHA built over 60 projects, won over 40 awards and has been an active contributor to the Los Angeles built environment.
Selected by the AIA|LA Board of Directors, the Firm of the Year Award is the highest honor AIA|LA can bestow on an architecture firm consistently producing distinguished architecture. LOHA contributes an innovative perspective to the forever evolving Los Angeles architectural blend and AIA|LA is proud to award LOHA’s at the 2010 Design Award Party on October 27.
