Spanish Architecture firm A-cero has consistently produced innovative and beautiful architecture for the modern age. Headquartered on the outskirts of Madrid, A-cero is headed by Joaquin Torres, and was established in 1996. Fifteen years later, the firm has four global offices and a new furniture collaboration with Sancal.
The name of their design is Ace, and it transfers over much of the architectural modernism seen in A-cero’s buildings. There are clean lines and soft edges, but Ace is most similar to A-cero’s distinctive modular style.
The sofa can come in any number of combinations — wide triple, sectional, and two-sided chaise with a pouf, and more. The armrests transition smoothly into the seating with a single swath of fabric, and colored pillows accent the sofa’s sleek minimalism. This is the first collaboration between the two design firms.
