“I’m interested in geometric forms these days, and while we often work in larger tone-on tone patterns, I wanted these mid-scale, simple shapes to work together in a more multicolored textile,” textile designer Sina Pearson says of Confetti, one of two patterns in her aptly named new Jubilee collection from her eponymous line. “I looked at this project as a puzzle, mixing the various light- and dark-colored rectangles in a balanced yet lively manner.”
Woven from a mix of polyester and acrylic Sunbrella yarns, Confetti comes in eight different colors, blending bold hues with neutrals for a dynamic mix. It pairs with the polyurethane Sparkler that comes in 11 jewel tones.
“Confetti works, in color and construction, with our other tone-on-tone Sunbrella Contract patterns, yet its multicolor motif offers new scale and color combinations,” Pearson notes. “The shimmery Sparkler gives us a brighter palette that complements not only Confetti, but numerous other patterns in our existing collection.”As with Pearson’s other designs, the new twosome is a great fit for contract, hospitality, institutional and even residential applications.
