On January 27, 2015, FutureBuild2015 will explore how changes in energy technology and the scarcity of resources will impact the future of infrastructure and building. ULI Los Angeles in partnership with VerdeXchange has assembled a group of visionaries, including keynote speaker Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, who will reveal the dramatic changes they predict.
“FutureBuild is where experts from all sectors share their visions for the next generation of infrastructure and development,” says FutureBuild Co-chair Silvia Saucedo. “And the unique partnership with VerdeXchange makes FutureBuild a stimulating encounter with the most influential local, state, national, and global private- and public-sector leaders.”
The event will cover innovative and relevent themes such as the intelligent built environment including new technologies that maximize efficiency and robo parking in anticipation of the revolution in how we store and deliver cars. Other discussions will revolve around economies of scale, alternative energy financing, the future of hospitality and cracking new energy codes. Notable speakers will include Gabe Klein, Senior Vice President of Fontinalis Partners and Seleta Reynolds, General Manager of the Los Angeles Department of Transportation.
