The program provides design enthusiasts and the general public with an inside look into the world of distinctive residences in Sonoma county. Tour participants have the opportunity to see some of the area's latest residential projects from the inside out, meet design teams, explore housing trends, and discover design solutions that inspire unique Sonoma living.


Design for Social Impact
May 25–August 3, 2014
Based on the idea that design is a way of looking at the world with an eye for changing it, the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA) presents Design for Social Impact, an original exhibition offering a look at how designers, engineers, students, professors, architects and social entrepreneurs use design to solve the problems of the 21st century.

Be Sure to Register For FutureBuildLA Green Conference and Expo, October 19th! 

 

FutureBuildLA 2010 is ULI Los Angeles's annual green conference and exposition bringing together developers, financiers, builders, law professionals, policy makers, planners, politicians, product innovators, building owners and operators, utilities, and other land use and real estate professionals, to explore sustainability from concept to execution. Through a series of panel discussions, workshops, case studies, seminars and roundtables, FutureBuildLA promises to create a dynamic forum and foster dialogue allowing participants to explore pertinent issues in green development.

Topics will include discussions on the future of development within the changing regulatory and entitlement process due to climate change and global warming, the connection between transportation, green infrastructure, incentives, financing, LEED accreditation, building design, and building operations, as well as a dialogue on sustainable technologies. 

Keynote speakers for the conference include the deputy Mayor for the environment for the City of Los Angeles, Romel Pascual, the founder of G24 innovations and former Speaker of the California State Assembly, Robert M. Hertzberg, the co-recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, and founder of Clark Strategic Partners, Woodrow Clark, as well as members from the award-winning property management team from Adobe Systems Incorporated.
