Image Courtesy of Studio Gang ArchitectsThe May event for the LACMA Distinguished Architects Lecture Series will feature Jeanne Gang, FAIA, LEED AP, founder and principal of Studio Gang Architects. The MacArthur Fellow's recent work is high profile and prolific, including the Aqua Tower, Chicago; the Nature Boardwalk at Lincoln Park Zoo; "The Garden in the Machine" for MoMA’s "Foreclosed: Rehousing the American Dream" exhibition; and the "Reverse Effect", a book intended to explore and spark a radically greener future for the Chicago River and Great Lakes.
The event will also feature an introduction from LA Times Architecture Critic Christopher Hawthorne.
