Stereo.Bot (Courtesy of SCI-Arc)Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) will present Alexis Rochas' installation of STEREO.BOT this Friday at the school's Library Gallery. The exhibition documents the creative process behind the Coachella Gateway Pavilion, which Rochas designed and built for the 2012 Coachella Music Festival in Indio, Calif. The freestanding structure measured 70 feet in width and 35 feet in height and featured over 18 hours of video content.

Stereo.Bot (Courtesy of SCI-ArcThe exhibition will feature dynamic architectural models, 3D mapping projections, and documentary material that follows the development of the project from inception to realization. The pavilion concept was born out of a collaborative initiative seeking to fuse architecture, art, and engineering into a unique, immersive experience.
