Landscape: Airport Demonstration Gardens Design Contest

Local landscape designers were invited to submit designs for three unique sustainable demonstration gardens to be installed at the Santa Monica Airport. These designs include the latest features in sustainable landscaping that can be incorporated to any yard: raised veggie gardens, play areas, outdoor rooms, permeable paving, native and Mediterranean plants, cisterns, drip irrigation and lawn alternatives. A panel of experts has narrowed the field down to nine designers, and now the community gets a chance to vote. Click here to view the finalists and VOTE.
