Shohei Shigematsu Discusses the Role of Financial Crises on Architecture

Shohei Shigematsu, partner at OMA, talks about architecture in the financial crisis at U Laval in Canada. Basing his speech on research of how past financial crises have affected architecture in the past, he relates historical precedent to his current projects, including the Milstein Hall at Cornell and OMA’s winning entry for the extension of the Musée National des Beaux-Arts du Québec (MNBAQ).
