Her newest venture is a curated lifestyle brand, House Fifty Two, where she's bringing the work of talented artists and designers together. The pieces range from housewares to tile, wallpaper and furnishings. With such a tremendous design résumé, we wanted to get her take on the state of the profession. We're delighted to share her thoughts on her inspiration and her favorites—and she reveals her fascination with fake food.

Image courtesy Stilnest.com.They may have veered into the realm of kitsch a while ago, but cuckoo clocks are wonderfully evocative of a time, a place and a craft tradition. Those factors, then, would seem to make them a prime target for re-imagining in the 21st century. That’s exactly what recently happened in a happening spanning continents and time zones.
