Big City Forum: The Hub at WUHO

Soo Kim (Photo Courtesy of Pasadena Museum of California Art)Big City Forum: The Hub presents an evening of spatial spectacle on Thursday October 11 at Woodbury University in Hollywood. The Hub is designed as a lab for ideas that encourage cross-disciplinary exchanges between creative fields. This is the first of three separate collaborative presentations centered around the concept of space and our relationship to both personal and urban scale formations.

Part One of the series focuses on the work of three artists who investigate notions of liminal space--Soo Kim, Siri Kaur, and Christina Ondrus. Each body of work explores issues of absence and presence and the varied ways in which we experience time and space. Les Figues Press will also curate readings during the exhibit that will examine similar themes in temporality.

Opening night of the forum is October 11 at 7:00 pm. Literary readings will be held on October 24 at 6:00 pm.
