Product: The Proust Chair by Alesandro Mendini

The influential Italian designer Alessandro Mendini has produced a re-edition of a classic from contemporary Italian design originally produced by Studio Alchimia in 1978. The chair is structured by a hand-carved and hand-painted wooden frame and upholstered with rotational-moulded polyethylene, so it works for an outdoor setting. The Proust is available in a full range of monochrome palettes and a bright multi-colored fabric. The chair is manufactured by Cappellini and available through Magis.
